Devin Reams: Making naps popular

    Ugh. I agree with everything you've said here. I went bi-phasic for a stretch last year but ended up breaking it when I moved to NY (and in with my fiancee.) But I totally hate that tired feeling when I get home from working for The Man and want to be able to be productive at night.

    Only issue I see is on weekends the 8-11pm block is pretty prime time. Hope it goes well!

    Hrmm.. My husband actually naps at lunch in his car, but that's just a quick 45 minute refresher and tends to make him sluggish during the second half of his work day as his body "wakes up"... Must. google. biphasic. sleep.

    He's likely sluggish because the nap is too short (the average sleep cycle is 90 minutes), if he doubled it he might see better results. Here's a bit more information I've compiled around biphasic sleep.
